In the Laboratory for Social and Affective Science, Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, University of Maribor, we strive to better understand the processes of emotion and social functioning in individuals. We also link the processes of emotion and social functioning of individuals to other areas of research, such as eating processes and early regulatory problems. We use methods from psychology and neuroscience, with a focus on electroencephalography (EEG) and the analysis of data collected by functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). In addition, we use intensive longitudinal methods such as experience sampling, behavioural data and psychological questionnaires.
