IndividuUM: development of a system for analysing intensive longitudinal data and producing personalised reports

What is the purpose of the project?

The project carried out a large-scale survey to monitor individuals’ wellbeing and emotion management. In addition, we also monitored some of the factors that contribute to this (e.g. sleep quality). The aim of the project was to develop a scalable data analysis system that allows researchers and practitioners in the field of psychology to generate personalised reports based on the analysis of data collected through different intensive longitudinal research designs, such as the Experience Sampling Method (ESM). The reports generated by the developed system allow individuals to gain insight into the dynamics of well-being, thinking and feeling during the period of participation in the research or follow-up in the treatment. The project was funded by the Student Challenges of the University of Maribor (ŠI:UM).

Who is involved in the project?

The project involved students of psychology, information technologies, media communication and translation studies. The project was a collaboration with the Avisensa Institute.
